Gudhi Padwa celebration

Namaskaar Mandali,

MMCPA is getting bigger with lot of new memberships! This year was another successful one with lots of new initiatives! Great job MMCPA Committee!

As per the tradition, we will celebrate the Gudhi Padwa function at the HARI Temple on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 5 pm onward.

Marathi families have been sponsoring this meal for past several years. I am very proud to note that over the past several years, we have enjoyed a BIG attendance for this dinner, almost close to 500+ people!

This has been possible only due to generous support from all of you. I am hoping to have the same support this year as well.

This year, we are planning the menu as follows:
1.   Polya
2.     Papad (25 packs of papad, fried)

3.     Pickle(1 bottle)
4.     Saadhaa Bhaat
5.     Cauliflower-potato-peas (dry bhajee)
6.     Aamtee (chinch-gul)
7.     Koshimbeer (yogurt-based, kakadee-gajar-tomato mixed)
8.      Gulab Jamoon.

Kindly  let me know about the item (5-6 families needed for major items) you would like to contribute from the above menu by March 20th, it would help greatly to plan the meal.

If you wish, you can pledge monetary support to sponsor polya ($25-30/family, 7-8 families total)

I can be reached by email at leena.pattarkine@gmail.com. I will get in touch with you as soon as possible once I receive your email.

Looking forward to your GENEROUS support in making this happen successfully yet again,

Thanks,

On Behalf of all the Marathi families,
